Experience & know-how – This has evolved from the impeccable track record in in-house production & consumption of RMC for mega projects, as well as strong research & development initiatives to enhance expertise on various types of mix required by the clients for varied purposes.
Superior quality – Era’s RMC is transported and delivered to the clients’ sites using sophisticated equipment, methods and means, thus providing flexibility in concrete design mixes and making addition of admixtures easier. All operations are computer-controlled with ability to ensure uniform, consistent and assured quality of concrete. The Division follows stringent precautionary measures and executes several quality control measures - from simple tests and analysis of raw materials & concrete to comprehensive non-destructive testing of hardened concrete & core testing of slabs.
Robust infrastructure – With an average production capacity of approx. 30 to 60 cum/hr, the plants follow a backward integration system through use of leased mines to carry out mining operations for extracting aggregates, along with modern in-house technology-led crushing equipment which offers a competitive edge over other players (economies of scale and better quality control).The laboratories are installed with the latest equipment for testing raw materials and fresh concrete. A large fleet of transit mixers and mobile & stationary pumps, capable of discharging concrete at high elevations and over long distances, are the other infrastructural advantages that Era RMC has over its competitors.
Client specific – This Division is fully equipped to supply RMC as per clients’ specifications. Its ability to assist clients in defining & specifying quality standards & designing specific concrete mixes to meet specific requirements make it the preferred choice of clients. Another advantage it offers to clients is possession of local market knowledge - distance of site from the RMC plant - a very critical element to avoid setting of RMC, which enables it to assure delivery within the least possible time (time taken from mixing to deliver post order) within 25-30 km radius of the RMC site.
Expansion Plans
Era RMC Division plans to set up 60+ plants over the next three years. Each plant is slated to have 6-8 transit mixers depending on the requirement of the location area.
